19. Grenada 1983 - December

The Hilltop Hotel

The roof above the guy (sitting on the roof) was over an area we called "The Porch".  When I was on Guard Duty at night I sat on "The Porch" with a pair of night vision goggles.  There was nothing to look at with the goggles though, except banana tree leaves waving in the breeze, so the goggles didn't get much use.

You can just make out the headlights of the jeep parked below in the shadows.
